Imagine waking up to the to a direct view of the morning sunrise while drinking your coffee listening to the sounds of birds chirping …or gazing at the moon and bright stars above you while hot tubbing listening to your favorite music with a glass of wine. We put the GLAMP in glamp-ing. Trust me you are not roughing it at Safari for the Soul.
The “Starry Nights” tent features a 400 sq. ft air conditioned/heated room with an impressive king-size bed, a one of a kind outside open bathroom and shower w/curtains connected to your tent, and an intimate/private hot tub. By far, this is everyone’s favorite feature.
The inside kitchenette area has all the necessities glampers need to create some simple yet delicious grilled meals, and they can be enjoyed at the bar table in the rental. (i.e. mini refrigerator with freezer, Keurig coffee maker/creamer pods, and propane grill.)
Out Starry nights tent is the ideal spot for you and your partner to enjoy a glass of wine and sit by your own private fire pit while star gazing or your own private hot tub. Trust me, it’s very romantic to be out in nature with such a quietness and sounds of the night.

***As this is a VERY popular destination, you will need to book in advance. If property is booked on the dates you want, we welcome you to experience one of our other glamping tents in Spicewood, 40 minutes away or the other similar tent on the property called Moonlight Magic.
Property has a closed gated entrance located right next door to Smithwick market under a large lit billboard sign.
To access property you will have to open the gate/close and chain it and drive down over a 1.5 mile dirt road.
Go through second gate and it will then dead end into the property….follow the path down to the safari tents. Moonlight Magic Tent is on the far left facing the water and Starry Nights guests will park on far right in designated area…parallel to the bathrooms.
On food:
The most convenient option is to use our propane grill with complementary propane. For the true campers, cooking over a campfire is a fun part of the glamping experience, so you’ll have your own personal fire pit with a propane grill right outside your tent. You will need to buy firewood & fire starter to help get you off to the right start!
A few tips for the grill-inclined:
– Think classic: burgers, sausages, steaks, kebabs, etc.
– Disposable metal pans seem to work best
– Nearest grocers are H-E-B in Marble Falls (supermarket, 15 min) and Smithwick Market to the right outside the main entrance gate(local, 5 min)
You’ll have a small fridge and freezer as well. If you aren’t planning on grilling, alternate food options are 10 minutes away in Marble Falls and so we recommend planning ahead for groceries /ice and restaurant dining/take out.
Onsite Activities:
– Watching the Sunset over the Colorado River
– Swimming in the Lake/aka Colorado River that’s a part of Lake Travis
– Go kayaking on the lake and look at the hill country views large hawks
– Go fishing and catch some large catfish, gar, perch or bass
– Self-guided yoga on the elevated deck/yoga mats provided
– Campfire chats: s’mores recommended, listening to music
